Your ability to capture the stage lighting as it diffused through the smoke is sort of hypnotizing. The contrast between the softness of the smoke and the harsh black shadows gives an edgy vibe. Overall, really successful at conveying the atmosphere and poetry of a concert.
The way that you capture the smoke on stage is incredible. I think the concert shots are your strongest- they have great tonal range, composition and technical skill. Great Job!
I also agree with the above comments, but the image of the female blowing the bubbles is captured nicely as well. Technically, your depth of field is spot on. There is also a sort of nonchalant, youthfulness happening with the subject but also in the framing.
These are great concert shots! Event photography can offer interesting subject matter and my favorites of this set are the 5th and 7th ones. The lighting in the 5th one is dramatic and clearly isolates the main subject from the background. Something about the 7th one and its centered composition gives it a very moody feel.
The tonal variation with each of your images is amazing! I especially love the seventh image because you captured the subject's pose so perfectly that one can almost sympathize with him as if he were a character. The smoke around him creates a natural frame that is just beautiful.
i really enjoy the picnic photo, its a little busy but that makes it all the more charming in my opinion. The contrast is nice in that one as well.I love the ora around the performers, i wish the darkest darks and shadows were a little darker, that might counter balance the whole smoky faded aspect more!
