  1. These photos are really beautiful. I enjoy the soft quality of the grain you're using in many of them and all of the pleasing compositions. The fourth image is especially interesting in its gradient of light and the placement of the figure, it's easy for the eye to travel across the scene's diagonal.

  2. I agree with Ashley. The fourth photograph has a sense of mystery. The granular effect enhances the repetitive nature and quality of the stars themselves, almost a mimic of them. The feeling and execution of this photograph is mystic and fantastical. This photograph is successful in that it embodies the feeling of that particular moment in time.

  3. I especially appreciate the geometric and textural contradictions of the third photo. The round balloons defy expectations by arranging themselves in a pyramidal composition, and the angular beams draw the viewer's eye centrally and to the triangle's peak. The plastic sheen of the balloons apse serves as an effective visual counterpoint to the grainy wood of the beams, the former being highly reflective and bright, and the latter proving more absorbent and organic.

  4. All of your photographs are very good examples of candid photography and all have that kind of ethereal vibe to them. The photo of the stars captures my attention because of the vast expanse of stars that's contrasted with the blurred figures in the corner. The stars lead you away into this endless array of stars but the figure grounds you, bringing you back to earth.

  5. The second to last picture has a wonderful light source coming from the portable stove that dissolves really nicely especially against the blades of grass
