  2. There is a nice range of values in most all of your images. The forth image is the strongest to me, in that even though it has a more crowded composition it is simplified by the neutral tones and made interesting by the pops of light.

  3. Your decision to capture the ice cream cart's hand-written menu boards in photo three reminded me of Walker Evans and his preoccupation with type. This, coupled with the fact that the photo is black and white contributes a sense of authenticity and homemade-ness. You succeeded in adding a layer of nostalgia to the image. Formally, the chalkboard's strong black tonality is arresting - it draws your eye inward, focusing in on the flavors.
