The first photo would have to be my favorite, the extreme contrast and upward angle give the rugged surroundings a mysterious quality. The fourth photo with the dogs works really well because of the melancholy expressions of the dogs and dim surroundings blend so well together. The juxtaposition of leaning and upright objects in the first image gives it character. The tonal ranges are great as well in the first photo.
