I love the linear organization and geometric simplicity of this architecture. It's interesting how the different angles and lighting of the photo affect the mood of a building. #2 emanates a soft warmth. The verticality and dark values in #7 give a sense of strength and stability, while the diagnals in #8 and #10 have dynamic energy and movement.
Photograph number 4 appealed to me because it took a hard, architectural construct and made it seem windblown. There is an aspect of airiness - of light, feathery gills or windmill blades. Perhaps this is attributable to the angle from which the photo was taken? The fact that you achieved such an elusive quality with a subject matter that is so starkly planar is astounding. Photo 7 also caught my fancy. The incline of the building (and its peculiar architecture) fascinated me. Unlike image 4, image 7 has a stark contrast (between brickwork and sky), so it feels heavier, grounded.
The second photograph is my favorite. There is something about the direction of the lines of the buildings that creates a strong composition. The geometric nature of the buildings are clean and heavily stresses the effect of lines with each photograph's composition. The use of trees in the third and ninth photograph introduce organic elements to contrast with the buildings.
I love how clean and geometric your compositions are. They allow your eyes to rest and are easy to look at while you fully appreciate the architecture or scene. The shadows and exposure give the photos a calmness, and I like how perfectly straight some are, making the photo look even more artistic and thoughtful.
