  1. I wish that we could meld together the first two images - combining the focused background (starry night sky, distant illuminated pier) of the first photograph with the blurred, echoey human figure of the second. Your third photo succeeded in accomplishing this, and has a ghostly, but still revelatory quality to it. In a less serious, more comedic vein, photograph eight made me smile. The fact that the girl is on a cell phone and at "K&K Bakery" makes me think of people's brusque text responses of "kk."

  2. The exposure in your first photo is stunning, with the dock fully showing up along with the stars and the texture of the sand. I love the concept of the figure distancing from shore and walking towards the water, as if to escape something. The last photo is really beautiful with the dim glow and glassy reflection of light. I especially like how the sizes of the glass figures recedes, they fit well paired with the fancy antique-looking china. I really like the concept of your fourth photo, with the girl staring out into the distance. To expand on this idea, maybe you can try a day shot near the water to juxtapose the vastness of the scenery with the girl's contemplating while looking into the distance.

  3. The second and third photograph use of blurry figures detach themselves from reality in an ominous way. The content of the third on win particular seems to suggest that there someplace better yet far off, indicated by the light in between the figures facing towards it. The last photograph is phenomenal and well executed! I enjoy how the tea cups frame the figures in their space and the glass/reflection is stunning.
