  1. I'm really getting your theme from these pictures, they feel very old Florida. The signage is helping a lot in grounding the images so that they don't feel random. Also, the dappled lighting in some of your shots adds a really nice quality that feels more nostalgic. Lighting seems really critical in these so I would continue to select images that have this romantic quality. Some can get a little washed out like 10 and some others. While 1,4,7, and 9 are really nicely exposed.

  2. I really think the dappled lighting from the shadows of the Spanish moss makes these photos! It just hollers "FLORIDA!". And the historic wooden houses remind me of the mandatory field trip we had to take in Florida History class (circa 7th grade). We were reading the book "A Land Remembered" and in addition to learning about phosphate mines, they thought it might behoove our education to take us to an old school house, where we had to write on slates and do 'rithmetic.
